Looking for a flight from Southeast Asia to Montreal without any layovers in the US.

My partner and I live in Montreal, Canada and will be traveling to Southeast Asia for a few weeks. We already have our flights there but I didn't like the flights back that were available to us. They all involved a layover in the US and that makes us both deeply uncomfortable given all of the stories coming out about ICE detaining foreign nationals.
We are hoping to find a flight from anywhere in Southeast Asia back to Montreal, less than $800 USD each one way, with no transfers in the US. The date would be any time in the last week of April. Thanks!

Go on Google Flights, you can select up to five origins and five destinations at a time (sounds like you're headed to Montreal, but maybe look into Ottawa and Toronto too if you don't like the prices to Montreal).
On the next page after you click search, click on "Connecting Airports" filter and de-select airports that you don't want a layover at.

There's an Air Canada direct flight from Manila to Vancouver starting April.

Surely there's options going through Dubai or London. Just search on any flight finding site and scroll through the results.

But OP wants you to do it for them! /s

Why?

Look for Air Canada flights from either BKK or SIN via YVR? Those are often in that price range (although you may be a bit late for a good price in April).

Do you have to transfer in the US on the way there? If not, why can't you do the same going back? Just go on Google flights and check your options.

No, we don't have a US transfer on the way there but I didn't see any cheap flights back that don't go through the US.
