Butter dish- what kind is the right kind?

I apologise, r/AskUK, for possibly the most boring question ever posed here. We need a butter dish in our house. To me, a butter dish is like [this](https://www.dunelm.com/product/vintage-glass-butter-dish-1000076967). To my odd, foreign, possibly mad husband, a butter dish is like [this](https://roov.co.uk/products/white-porcelain-butter-dish-m-w?sku=18063507778926920388491950&currency=GBP&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqIm_BhDnARIsAKBYcmsqEMMUeG9jq88mprofcumWLuAR7KdVHntXNZl13_gWMomV07OD1DsaAv2CEALw_wcB). What is the right kind of butter dish and why is it the one I prefer?
