Elder care IT Hardware and Applications

I'm currently working on improving the IT infrastructure for an elder care home in Switzerland and I'm looking for some advice. Specifically, I'm interested in learning about the alarming systems and phone systems that you use or recommend for such facilities in other countries. Additionally, I'm curious about any special software or other tools that you find particularly helpful in this context.
In Switzerland, we commonly use systems like Ascom, SmartLiberty, Qumea, and Novalink. (And of course M365)

Our organization recently migrated to the RingCentral RingEX platform and I would advocate that could work for you. It’s incredibly simple (Once you get the hang of it) and easy to manage (If you can even really call it managing with it being SaaS).
Are you looking for a communications platform with the intent of it being utilized by staff or “patients”?

I think the communication for the staff is more important than the residents.
So the solution should cover the critical staffcommunication, when the residents can use it too in a simpler way it is even better.

I'm guessing the seniors aren't looking to send daily TikToks, but hey, you never know. I've worked in similar settings, and while RingCentral is solid, sometimes its flexibility can surprise even the hippest grandma. Also, I've tried Zoom Phone and Dialpad, which do well for staffs efficiently managing calls. I've even heard folks chat about Pulse for Reddit's adaptability, linking different social platforms together. Who'd have thought Reddit would pop up here, right? Anyway, hope this helps while you're knee-deep in all those cables and wires!

I definitely agree in that regard. RC definitely can take a minute to develop a genuine understanding of from an end user’s perspective.
