Bad news for pilot flying j prime parking!

A giant meeting was held for a bunch of higher up managers, and they decided that employees can’t move people out of prime parking anymore. I guess too many drivers have shot employees and cops for asking them to move out of prime parking since they didn’t buy a spot. Too much of a liability to have employees move people. can’t tow either because they don’t have the access to bill the companies. It’s really sad to see

I had a security guard bang on my door and tell me to move at a Pilot… so I did.

Good move. Not everyone does it’s quite sad

It’s called prevention. They need to block as many reserved parking spaces as possible with cones and have an employee check on the parking spaces. Well, at least that’s what some TAs do to keep freeloaders off.

Pre-paid for a spot in Louisville on Sunday night because I wasn't going to arrive until after 9pm. When I arrived, all spots were full. Went in to talk to an employee, and they explained that they were not allowed to manage the reserved spots after dark anymore.

A pilot employee told me that I could park in a reserve spot one night and said that they couldn't tell me to move anyways because of liability reasons. She did mention somebody had been shot.

Simple solution: don’t charge for parking if unwilling to honor a legally binding contract.

Yeah idk why we even still do prime parking if it’s the reason for many deaths. It’s stupid
SparZoe@reddit
So essentially they will just call a tow company to move them out.

We can’t even do this either. We have zero way to bill the company. If we did, and they refused to pay it, it’s still on us

Yeah gonna need a source on this one.

I had this exact situation where I paid for a parking space and they would not come out unless there was armed security to tell a driver they had to move. So when I called corporate the next day to get refunded for the parking which I was not able to get. I asked the person on the phone and she confirmed that yes, after dark they are not allowed to even knock on a drivers door unless there is armed security on site
