Has Tulsi Gabbard ever directly addressed accusations that she is too close to right-wing Indian politicians like Modi?

Forgot Bangladesh. Echoing Indian view on Bangladesh ? Tick

In her current visit to India, Tulsi was embraced and she accepted that embrace as our girl who made it big in America and has now come back with some goodies. Now let us ask her - openly on tv - what is good for India in her appointment.
Pakistan a terrorist state? Tick
In the past, it was true. What about Canadian and America's own allegation of RAW's orchestrating murders in their country and Guardian publishing a detailed piece claiming RAW has murdered 18 high value targets in Pakistan?
Even if she had embraced Indians in private, at least she could kept up appearance by saying something more like "I have always been against terrorism but on India and Pakistan, the situation is complex and fluid and we need to work with Pakistan too. So we shall see."
China ? Almost a tick no effort to stand above the situation.
USA and India tarriff clash ? Not to worry everything is going to be just fine between our two great nations.
On and on. Her proud smile showed how please she was to have made her people proud.
I was truly impressed and proud by her courage and tenacity in facing a pack of senators during confirmation hearing without giving an inch on her stands specially on Snowdon.
I thought she is going to president one day.
Unfortunately, on her Indian visit she has allowed herself to seen as an Indian girl returning home with a trophy.
Compare this to Saeeda Warsi, who rose to the position of chairperson of UK conservative party. She saw the Pakistani frame of Paki girl and she completely ignored her and didnt come close to it. In reality and in public, her loyalties lay with the UK and her party.
Given this weak side, I think it's a miracle that T has come as far as she has in her career. US establishment already questioned her loyalty for years. Having seen her weak girlish side, I don't think she would survive in her current official position for the whole term.
Many Pakistani people also abuse malala, who is not holding any govt position in the West, for not taking Pakistani or Muslim side on this or that issue but malala keeps her distance thus maintaining her international acceptability.
As for T, stubborn people are not immune from being wrong. Sad really
