Offered a Job as an Ice Cream Van Driver – Paid Daily in Cash, Self-Employed, Everything Provided. Is This a Red Flag?

So I have been offered a job working with a local company that have an ice cream van fleet. Job is basically just ice cream van man. Its paid daily in cash. There isn't any cost to me at all. Like everything from van, uniform, stock is all provided and pick up the van from the warehouse to drive to the pitch/events. However the thing that did make me pause a bit was that I was told I would be self employed. Paid in cash daily. To me it sort of sounds a bit dodgy considering my duties and the way the job work, which surely should make me an employee or worker.
Does this sound like a potential red flag? The job sounds ideal, especially coming into the summer but something does seem amiss. Would you take on a job with this sort of arrangement?
