Can anyone give me insight to add to a pros and cons list for attending Ohio University or Kent State’s Aviation program? tia

Ohio University’s flight program is a joke. Kent State’s is extremely overcrowded

This past year they’ve severely limited people entering with the Casper test, it should be fixing itself out.

Nope. I'm a current Kent state student. 80 people in private 12 C152s

That’s not that bad actually lol

Yes, PPL phase 1. Freshman by year but junior by credit hour

Hey there, if you don't mind me asking, what is the CASPER, how to prep for it, and what was your GPA when you got accepted?
blitzroyale@reddit
Casper is a online personality standardized test
No way to prep, just be confident in public speaking as it is recorded video responses
My stats are an outliter but I applied with a 1430 SAT and 4.33 GPA with 7 IB classes (32 credit hours)

Hey , I have a question for you. Do you know if any of your fellow classmates are using the Post 9/11 GI Bill?
blitzroyale@reddit
Heard some things here and there but don't know anyone personally

Thank you for your response !

lol have fun trying to do your solo xc they only send them out at 0700 or 1215, I’ve been waiting weeks because I actually have a life and obligations that they chose to ignore. They say they can make exceptions but they won’t

Wasn't there just a post about OU switching out older airplanes for a Cirrus fleet and the prices increasing substantially?

Before more people say "don't get an aviation degree," read my post on college aviation programs: https://www.reddit.com/u/RaiseTheDed/s/bXVuRKEDRt
I usually only recommend college aviation if it makes flying + degree cheaper than if you would do them separately.
Yesthisisme50@reddit
Neither
Don’t go to college for aviation. Get a normal degree
