Giving notice of marriage - how long do your details stay public?

Am currently in the process of booking an appointment to give notice of marriage. I’ve learnt your (and the partner)’s details are on display as a legal requirement. How long do these details remain public?
Is it for the 29 days, or however long from the point of notice until the date of legal registration?

Google and subsequent checking of 4 London council websites state "Your notice is publicly displayed in the register office for 28 days before the legal document which permits you to marry or form a civil partnership is issued."

It is a website that at one time was the premier internet search engine, very useful for research.
However that is now a thing of the past, and it's sole purpose is to show how useless AI is in this context.
