Chris Martenson's Crash Course seems like a very interesting watch/read and of special interest to preppers. Sorry but that was unwatchable - guy keeps saying that wow exponential growth is not linear... no shit sherlock. So either he assumes his viewers have very limited math skills (which is fine, but then he really should explain it and use it as a teaching moment) or he doesnt know what he is talking about and is just using buzzwords I assume he will get to the point and say that we need to switch to renewables which is completely right

Renewables... Solar. Wind. Water. All three can be sent to the same MPPT and will pick up the slack when one of the others aren't fully efficient.
