Is there a bigger/better British band than Radiohead?

Ok Computer was the peak, everything since has been a derivative.

I've heard that too. Didn't they have a song in charts at one point?

Black Sabbath. They invented a genre and inspired millions.

Better? Yes, lots. PInk Floyd, Yes, Deep Purple, ELP, Supertramp, ELO, King Crimson and Asia come to mind for those who consider Radiohead a prog band. Then there's The Kinks, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Tailgunner, Led Zeppelin, Venom, Dire Straits, Uriah Heep, Rainbow (though it's a shame they only did three albums), Orange Goblin, Saxon, Motorhead, Del Leppard, Angel Witch, Diamond Head, Samson, Raven, Hell, Asomnvel, Sweet, Power Quest and many more. As for bigger, definitely however i am not about to look up record sales for various bands and compare them to Radiohead for various bands.

Radiohead objectively changed British music with Kid A. The music press had a visceral reaction to it, and it killed guitar music while making bedroom electronics the mainstream. Artists like Aphex Twin, Unkle and Autechre had done this sound before, but Radiohead perfected it and made it dominant. Kid A killed guitar music overnight. Then, a decade later, Radiohead redefined music distribution with the release of In Rainbows. There are bigger bands, and there are artists who did these things first. But Radiohead defined it. They changed the game, twice.

Wings. Only the band the Beatles could have been.

I’m a massive fan of Radiohead. There are albums after Ok Computer that are incredible and life changing. There are also many British bands that are bigger than them, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd being three.
