What kind of jobs can i look for so i can be home more?

I need a better work home balance im not opposed to working harder as long as i can go home at the end of the day or at least be home to 3 to 4 days a week guaranteed. Ive only been driving for two years and im not sure where to start when looking for another job or even whats all available im looking for recommendations. I live in the dallas fort worth area if that matters.

It seems like nobody will hire you without experience i was looking for companies that would train you it doesnt seem like any of them do. Ill keep looking.

They all want experience with driving, most don't require experience with the boom juice.

I was speaking on tanker and hazmat jobs i havent seen any of those type of jobs where they will train you they all want experience or you to already have the edorsements.

Getting endorsements isn't very hard. Hazmat is a test with a background check. Tanker and doubles are a test. Just get the endorsements then start applying.

I just figured id need some sort of education offered by a company or take some class so i could pass the test. I tanker would be the easiest. Ill look into it. I wanna get more diversified.

You do need to take a eldt class for the hazmat. You can do it online for pretty cheap. The Hazmat test isn't hard. You have to take it every 5 years. The company is required to give you Hazmat training every 3 years. I maintain my HNT even though I don't currently use it. You never know what life is going to throw at you.

For fuel they’ll have you work class B for about a year but you’ll get to go home everyday. What state are you in?

Texas. Idk even what steps to take to get certified/educated for fuel. Would my local dmv offer classes? Im sure id have to get a tanker endorsement as well.
