Best European City With Beach + Nightlife Combination?

Bit of context: I’m going on vacation in about a week for 10 days. I’d like to go somewhere in Europe. I’m in my early 20s. I’d like to stay in 1 or 2 cities, but because I’m on a bit of budget, ideally I would like to spend the 10 days without having to take a flight to get from one the other, a short train ride or something of that nature is much preferable.
A bit about my personality: During the day I want to relax and go to the beach. I like to party but at the same time I like history, art, history, walking around, architecture, food, culture, sightseeing. Ideally I’d like to spend most of my days at the beach and walking around a beautiful city with good culture, sites, and history, and during the night have the option to party and enjoy the night life.
Another option would be to spend the first half of my trip with a destination that fits some of these criteria, and the second half of my trip with a destination that fits the missing criteria (for example, the first destination being for the beach, and the second destination being for the nightlife). Again, these two places would have to be quite close to one another.
Hostel recommendations would also be greatly appreciated.

I’m in Montenegro at the moment and Budva was surprisingly party. You could do a couple days there, a couple days in Kotor and then even pop into Dubrovnik or head up to Durmitor for some cool nature.
I’m a little lost though- where are you flying into? That will make it easier to decide where your final destination should be.
Last minute flights can be very expensive- even short internal flights eg. we could not find a flight from Sarajevo to our next destination (in northern Italy) for less than 150€ and that was 3 weeks in advance. We still haven’t booked it and now we’re left doing it overland which will be a big hassle! So don’t think you can fly to a major city and simply appear to wherever you want to vacation.
We have been travelling in Europe for 6 weeks and still have a long while left, and booking accomodation less than 1 week in advance is impossible- you’re left with over priced shit holes, or you’re sleeping on the beach.
I feel like the only beachfront location you will be able to find reasonable accomodation this last minute is southern Albania. Which is possibly the most underrated place I’ve ever been. Good luck.

Hi! My friends and I are considering Budva for our holiday and was wondering what you thought? There’s not much online to go off of and reviews can be a bit mixed? Thanks!
