Race organizers using SAP Sail Insight?

I've been playing around with this for our club, seems great with a few challenges, wondering if anyone has experience with the thing they could share.
-
Is it possible to create courses in the Admin (web) console? I can do it in the mobile app but it's not ideal.
-
Is it possible to duplicate courses so I can re-use mark positions? Our marks don't move and get re-used.
-
Are there hidden benefits of the paid subscriptions? Seems all free for my purposes with only a few fancier features requiring paid subscriptions, as such I wonder if it's too good to be true and I've set myself up for heartbreak.

I don't know but I would be surprised to see any piece of software made by SAP to not be shit.

Wait guys.. so we are actually talking about a software from SAP that is used for Sailing!?
Crazy.. never knew something like this exists.
Or are we joking?

Yup, and after learning it a bit (i.e. banging my head on the wall for a few weeks), I can report it is very mature, but it has a sharp learning curve.
There is a mobile app called SAP Sail Insight, and a web admin console behind it at sapsailing.com, both free.
I find the mobile app basic but polished, and the web admin console to be unintuitive and quite difficult. I caved in at some point and sent them an e-mail asking for help not expecting any reply (it's free), but I was happy to discover a very responsive and passionate support person behind it.
I would certainly recommend the mobile app for basic races, but wade into that admin console at your own peril. They have a few videos but not nearly enough. Some concepts are tersely documented, for example: https://wiki.sapsailing.com/wiki/info/security/permission-concept
If you can make your event publicly visible to competitors after reading that "Permission concept" wiki without any help then you will have done better than me.
They have a whole bunch of other apps and paid services but everything I've done so far is free, and apparently they are working towards open sourcing it, I'll probably start contributing when they do.

The mobile app is surprisingly well done for a freebie, but yes the SAP "character" is immediately recognizable in the web admin console, barf.
