Insurance on greater than 750w e-bike.

Thinking about picking up a Hyperscrambler 2 from juiced since I’m a big guy and want a ton of range. That said, these bikes are expensive and I’d like to protect myself and my $3500 investment. I tried looking at all the e-bike insurance companies, but they said they only insure 750w and under bikes (which is total bullshit). One company offered to write it as a motorcycle, but then I’d have to have a motorcycle license to ensure my coverage didn’t get denied in the case of a claim. Homeowners only insures your bike at home. I’m in a town where it’s a very real possibility that my bike gets stolen (Morgantown WV). I’m honestly considering just getting a 49cc moped just so I can insure it.
