Rightfax and multi domain authentication - is this possible?

We're planning on doing an AD domain migration and I'd like Rightfax to be able to authenticate users to two different domains. Users currently have an AD user account in each domain. If I could get a single Rightfax account to authenticate to both of those AD accounts, that would be awesome, but I have my doubts if that's possible.  Support told me to RTFM under the sync module, but that's not helping me. I setup the sync tool and it's just provisioning new accounts on the new domain for me, it's not linking the two together. There is an option to merge accounts, but I can't figure out what the criteria is.  We're currently just linking Rightfax accounts to the AD account on a one by one basis. If I try to link my account to the other domain I just get an error that it can't lookup the account because the trust relationship between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed, but the trust is currently up and running

Don't think that's possible. You'll need to change over the RF account to the new domain when the users starts using that account, create duplicate accounts, or switch to local auth for a transition period.

Opentext support is pretty bad but keep at it (with your original open ticket) and keep insisting the ticket gets escalated. Might take a week but you'll eventually get a good Rightfax engineer. At least that's been my experience.

Pretty bad is putting it lightly. I have another ticket that's been open since March. I was updating the ticket 3 days a week asking for an update. After a month they told me that they were pretty busy and looking into it. That was in June. Never specifically asked to get it escalated, maybe that's the magic word.
