I haven't personally eaten Dubai chocolate, but I have lived in Dubai and eaten lots of kunafa in my life. Kunafa itself deservedly one of those desserts that is finally having a halloumi moment. And, much like Chinese food in the 1970s, most British people simply aren't going to know how it should taste - and hence you'll likely get ripped off with a pale imitation. The simple fact is that Kunafa is quite a unique dessert, and the amount of pistachios and chocolate involved mean that Dubai chocolate is going to be expensive to make. It will also spoil quickly. Also, the labour required is considerable, but in Dubai, where labour is very, very cheap, it makes perfect sense.
