Abandoned/Lost Dog?

I-35NB mile marker 171, Mullhall, Oklahoma - in the truhk parking area. This young border collie mix male was searching for food. He was very very skinny, and had a black leather collar on. He wont come near, but will eat food if placed at a distance and left. Will be notifying the local shelter on Monday when they open. ... did anyone lose this poor baby?

Border collies are an extremely high energy breed, and are miserable without a job My guess is someone dumped them because the dog was miserable being a copilot

Thr loyalty though ... still looking for his damn owner, it breaks my heart to think someone dumped him here. I hope the local shelter can go out and trap him, since he is food motivated.

Just wanted to add .... he goes up to every truck and stands outside the passenger window, about 15ft away, and waits to see the driver. He is looking for his person. 😓

That dog needs a rescue not it’s old owner clearly
