LA discovery flight on short notice?

Hey folks - I have tomorrow and first half of Sat in Los Angeles. Any recommendations for schools that can help with a discovery flight? I'm a flight sim buff so would love to go up in a Cessna. Called up 4 schools and they either aren't available or their not answering the phone :(. Or am I out of luck?

Sorry for the late reply. It was absolutely amazing, so exhilarating and the experience was nothing short of perfect. I have done a lot of flight sim on the Cessna 172 and was hoping to get the same aircraft. And it was, with all the mechanical instruments. The owner Jess and instructor Marden were both super friendly. I never expected to be able to fly the aircraft for that long. Right after take off and until just before landing. I did 30 degree banks with 360, 45 degree banks with 360. When I told Marden I wanted to do everything, he also let me do the preflight checks, walk around, refuel the aircraft, check readiness etc. It was a most memorable experience. I leave the states tomorrow and there's no way I'll ever train to be a pilot (too expensive in my country and also spouse will never let me). So this was everything I ever wanted. Apologies for the long post, I'm still looking at the pics I took on the flight ✈️.

Which school did you end up attending? And how much? I'm hoping to do the same thing. I'm visiting LA for a week

Wings over LA - it was amazing, got a last minute cancellation and was able to fly and hour after I called.

Where in LA? If by VNY I recommend Wings Over LA

Actually tried them again and they have a slot in 45 mins, heading there now, wish me luck!
