I've been trying to pinpoint the difference(s) between today's "musical artists" and the true artists we grew up with. I've listed a few. Any others?

Maybe I should have flaired this as Old Man Shouts at Clouds, LOL
1. Our music stirred strong emotions through melody, lyrics, and imagery that are unparallelled.
2. Our artists (mostly) played their own instruments, wrote their own songs, and sang without autotune.
3. You could understand what the hell they were saying.
