Bluvall K10 dual motor, Dual 52V 23Ah Batteries

Figured I start a thread on yet another Chinese e-bike…Bluvall K10, a moped style dual motor, dual battery 52v (46Ah total) that I ordered today. the dual motor (2x2) AND huge battery capacity with great range (hopefully)sold it.
please share your thoughts, experiences, reliability, MODs etc. as I said i have one on the way..
I’m no stranger to Chinese “quality” so of course I’m going to go through it and loctite stuff, check bolts/nuts etc…..
my plan is to make this a go anywhere bile, bike trails, dirt trails, road etc. No mcrazy mountain trails but a great exploring bike. The suspension is meh so I’ll probably upgrade that, but first I’ll try out the stock stuff. I’m only 175lbs so stock is sometimes sufficient.
here’s the Amazon specs which I really don’t believe but they are what they are…
- 3000W Peak Motor3000W peak motor, speeds of 35 MPH and delivering 160Nm torque 35° inclines effortlessly, off-road trails or commuting through urban streets.
- dual 52V 23Ah batteries (46Ah total), offering up to 120 miles (some ads say 160m which is total unbelievabl) in pedal-assist mode. Charging with 2 chargers to charge both batteries simultaneously, ensuring fast and reliable power for long journeys. Full charge in 8-10 hours for uninterrupted adventures.
- All-Terrain Comfort & Durability:With a full suspension system and 20"x4.0" fat tires, this versatile electric bike delivers superior grip and shock absorption on snow, sand, or rugged trails, ensuring comfort and stability on any terrain.
- Hydraulic Disc Brakes & Advanced Lighting System:Equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes and an EABS system, the electric motorcycle offers precise and responsive stopping power. Bright LED headlights, taillights, and turn signals ensure optimal visibility and safety, day or night.

i'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the k10 combo pack that they're selling right. seems irresistible price-wise compared to the euy k6f pro combo that i was looking at, with a better display too. really hope this works out..
Killerspike00@reddit
Nice bike it seems, but the price skyrocketed recently
SocietyTomorrow@reddit
They had to eat a lot of crow when shipping a container load during tariff madness. They likely overcompensated on price to deal with it. I ordered mine right before they did l, and got my bike 3 weeks ago. Because shipping was delayed so bad that they actually sent me a different revision of the same model, which addressed the non adjustable suspension, has a bluetooth bike computer/display, and a wider seat. I got pretty unlucky and had a controller go out so I'm waiting on a replacement part, but in the mean time am using it to weld up a seat spacer (am at the top end of recommended height and want to raise it a couple inches) and add a base to mount a cargo box or panniers without disturbing the seat itself.
Other than my bad RNG with the controller, it's a good strong bike and the frame is pretty standardized so I'd imagine you could get pretty creative with changing things if you felt so inclined.
THORMUNZ@reddit
Wait what model did you get? I got the k10, but I ordered mine in March and just got it yesterday which they also said they'll upgrade and what not and I had to select a different color (blue or pink) because they only had 30 black and would have to wait longer. It feels like they outsource it because aesthetically it has issues, but have yet to see any issues physically.
SocietyTomorrow@reddit
I got the k10 black, and have the opposite experience. No aesthetic problems but controller went out. I'm beginning to think they're operating in a very unorganized way. They just shipped a replacement controller out a couple days ago, and they said they are changing from a dual controller with combiner to a single controller for both motors and batteries. My guess would be this will more closely match the one the list on their website.
The things look lately, I don't much trust them right now, they say whatever is a logical enough reason to cite delays, then act like they have no margin or spare parts on hand if something comes up. I'm liable to list this for sale once I'm back to operational since I got a steep discount on it compared to MSRP (shipped and with tax was $1090) and put that towards a major name bike even if it will end up smaller and less comfortable for me (one of these days I'll be able to afford that dirty sixer)
THORMUNZ@reddit
Yeah I feel like the bike I got was outsourced to deal with the shipping delays so I'm concerned on the build quality over time, so if these k10 "upgraded" versions don't get listed then I probably did get an outsource. Other than that I'm in the same boat and can't complain as I got it for $1150 and wanted it as a local commuter bike. Definitely do agree, I feel like I can't trust them currently, but hopefully they do improve over time as the whole bike itself isn't bad!
SocietyTomorrow@reddit
There's a huge difference in the new controller they sent out. It's going to be such a tight fit I don't know how I'm going to get it and the wires to fit in the cavity at the same time! At the very least the build quality is better since it weighs about 4x what the old one did (more case material= better heat dispersal hopefully assuming that's what broke the old one) Picture left= new controller, right 1 of 2 old controllers
THORMUNZ@reddit
Uff good luck, let us know how it goes, so far my "upgraded" bike has been holding up but only time will tell if it's build decently
Pristine-Muscle-5747@reddit
I know this is old, but how is the bike holding up?
THORMUNZ@reddit
Surprisingly still holding up I use it around my town for local commutes

if that's the case find something else maybe a well establishedbrand.. I bet they are going to run specials at times though. I would NOT have paid full price for this bike.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
so I upgraded my rear shock to a lighter weighted 750 lbs shock... and MORE IMPORTANTLY I greased the swing arm. it was causing some horrible creaking. especially the pivot point behind the crank arm... there was not a lack of grease in there. maybe this isn't for you or.maune it is. It was not that difficult but you can stress the wires if you're not careful. I added loctite to them all.
mikeyvizzle@reddit
I know this is old but what length shock did you install. I want to upgrade mine to one with adjustable sag and rebound
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
I never did install a better shock because of the need for torque arms and the safety of it.. I guess front motors and suspension is somewhat of a thing..
mikeyvizzle@reddit
Oh I never specified I wanted to replace just the rear
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
I just used one from a box of parts I had.
I_am_Morphious@reddit
My experience with the Bluvall K10 has been a good one .. got it on a fantastic price 1200 CAD .. using it as a run around I am very happy with its preformance and looking forward to seeing how winter effects my battery preformance .
Cease1978@reddit
I'm thinking about ordering the k10 trail by Bluvall. Has anyone had any issues with the bike? Has it been a good bike so far for everyone? Please let me know. Thank you!
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
i ahve had decent luck with the K10 but i know how to wrench and about bikes, motorcycles etc. these are no different than any other cheapish run of the mill chinesium ebike. definitely go over EVERY NUT AND BOLT ESPECIALLY BRAKES AND AXLE MOUNTS.
Routine-Mechanic-814@reddit
How do you like it? Please update im lookimg to buy
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
Bought an Air shock 20x4 on the jungle with some torque arms…maybe overkill but I’m putting torque arms on each side…. I really don’t know if it fits but that’s the beauty of amazon if it don’t fit back It goes….lf it does I’ll post what it is…. I remember reading somewhere that it is used for other dual motor 20x4 bikes…..
‘interestingly this seems to be like the 4 google listing for bluevall k10…. Also looking for good rack ideas…if anyone has any please post.
THORMUNZ@reddit
Any update on this?
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
negative. As a recent retiree I have been working on my house, looking to downsize to a lower tax state. NY is definitely NOT it.
THORMUNZ@reddit
I feel that, hence why I'm in AZ!
HungryCommercial366@reddit
Do you or anyone have good recommendations for an e-bike that is built good but still has a good speed of I’m looking for about 35mph or 30 that has good range for a daily commuter to school which is about 5 miles with a bit of uphill it’ll have to be reliable too though because I will be using it often and I have a top price of about $1500 too
HumbleAwareness4312@reddit
I own 2 Bluvall k6's. I bought them 2 years ago when they first came out, for under 700.00 each delivered. No problems yet, knock on wood. I almost bought the k10 in March, which was just over 800. with codes and pre-order. Didn't pull the trigger, and now they are 1800.00. I said foget it. Don't know how the company can justify a one thousand dollar increase in less than 2 months. Oh well.
HumbleAwareness4312@reddit
I just went to their website and noticed the k6 is rebranded as the s20 and is now almost 1900. Crazy
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
I am showing 1,186.99 USD for the S20.... and the K10 is 1,750.00 USD...I personally wouldn't pay 1750 for it... i would get something with better components and a more durable frame
..
HumbleAwareness4312@reddit
Correct, I read the price wrong. Still, five hundred over for a two year old rebranded ebike is still insane.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
It’s a common practice….. inflate the msrp and heavily discount so the purchaser feels good about the purchase… they do it with jewelry, watches etc….
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
who knows .. maybe the whole tariff thing and it is spring so more demand but just guessing... i wouldn't have paid full price for the K10....
HumbleAwareness4312@reddit
Me either
Positive_Guidance_53@reddit
Ordered mine just before April still with the low price Will probably take one more month to ship to Europe from their us warehouse . Any advice on storage or other upgrades you did would be appreciated.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
Its a good value specification wise but that means you might have to upgrade stuff depending on what you want out of it....
tires for sure but that's the case for any ebike at this price point....cst heb ultraverse are good. I went with the CST scouts, some tire liners and flat out because scouts are awesome tire that fits my riding style with copious amounts of flat protection....
Just today i put on Dsyiland 4 piston hydraulic brakes but the stock RSI brakes work pretty well
Rear view mirrors are real nice and a definate must.. get something from alixpr of decent quality or amazon
If you ride on the road ie near cars get an inexpensive NEON jacket and helmet, its really pretty cheap preventive gear
Youll probably need to grease the pivot points on the rear swing arm. I also had a 750lb cheap chinese rear shock that has preload adjusment, inthrew on while iwas doing that....Definitely helps alot but start with grease first. If your riding strictly road not as necessary but why not do some (nothing crazy) offroad?
**A front shock upgrade is what im looking for but 20x4
Front shocks that can handle 1000w motors are few and just throw ing anything on there that "fits" can be dangerous, seriously consider using torque arms....if you find anything please post here
Somr decent front and rear racks would be good but haven't really found anything yet.....
Thats about it near as i can tell...its a fun ride with nice range....
Positive_Guidance_53@reddit
Thank for the comprehensive reply guess I could have added more specific details on what I intend to do with it but you pretty much covered everything 👌 I currently ride a ado a20f+ which runs a limited 500 watt rear motor it's reaching 5.200 km and battery's don't run as they used to probably because I unlocked it .. My daily commute to work is around 12 km roundabout and almost run out of battery ..so I'm hoping to get more milage and power with this one. Regarding upgrades I'm thinking of building a middle inner cage since I'm a locksmith and welder by trade I can figure something out regarding that and haven't seen any options for it unless it's handle bar storage and I want my bar clean for other gadgets 😁. About the rear shock I was also thinking of upgrading it .. My height also is 5.4 so that also might be a issue I have seen some vids on yt 🤔. Front suspension definitely needs to be good that much power is very jerky to the forks. Mirrors helmet and reflective gear alrdy have it . Again thanks for the reply and I will inform on further upgrades.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
No You’ll definitely get more power and range. Throttle only is appx 50miles…not sure what kilometers is 75,maybe? enjoy and keep us posted for sure 👍
Bright-Item1062@reddit
The bike is awesome! Been riding for a couple of weeks and it is just the most fun bike you will ever ride!
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
It certainly is spec’d nicely. As with every china bike you have to go over nearly every nut bolt. There was no grease in any swing arm pivot point including the rear shock and the front fork shock is pretty meh. I’m going to crack open a motor and check the planetary gears for grease when I do the tire swap.
hovtech@reddit
I got mine with a broken headset. Having much difficulty getting warranty service on the bike. It is all the good things you have read in posts. But when it comes to service under warranty, so far it has been non existent. Keep that in mind.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
wow that sucks. It’s good you posted about it. this seems to be the main thread maybe only thread on this bike. Maybe that will push them to help.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
So I took it for its test run and everything seemed fine… I only went about 3 miles because it was 40f and was c-c-c-cold.
full battery top speed both motors was 36.4 according to the bikes speedometer (which seemed accurate),
rear only was 30mph. 36.4 seems fast on side roads I must say.
As I assumed the suspension is meh. Did some (as in a qtr mile) light off road gravel and hard packed dirt, everything seemed fine Except the suspension which did work just was meh, fine on pavement but no suspension would be fine on pavement.
it handles fairly well on pavement and that’ll improve with real tires.
so thus far it’s about what I expected. No idea at all on range of course.
it did have an auto engage cruise control which I find very annoying. Definitely want that off.
there’s my mini review, first impressions.
cheers!
Interesting-Guard-91@reddit
Looking into this bike as well. What kinda tires were yoh planning on replacing the oems?
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
I went with CST Scouts, because they seemed to be of generally better quality and found a good deal on 1st them. Not installed yet, but soon. I also got Anti-puncture tire liners AND Flatout. Hopefully that should do it and prevent flats.
there seemed to be a few choices for the type of riding I do which is best guess 80/20 on/off. HEB Allscapes, Ultraverse seemed to be good options too but the scouts seemed to be more fitting for my type of riding and the bonus of a good price.
Interesting-Guard-91@reddit
Appreciate the reply....I'm looking to snag one soon and was just worried about the tires being an issue right out the gate. Thanks!
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
The company was nice enough to send me the updated manual for the computer….and to thier credit they actually have answered my3 emails and updated the website with what appears to be the correct manual.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
well so far so good.. the bike is all together and everything works. Has a voltage display which is nice, a solid headlight, directionals, brqke lights, etc.
— I did notice a couple bolts not completely tightened But that’s par for the course. Tomorrow I’m going top down and double checking every bolt, nut, Allen screw etc. Putting some loctite in most bolts of unless there’s a specific reason not to.
-The tool set is (unsurprisingly) complete junk but I’ll make my own emergency kit with the same sizes.
-tires are the usual sparse knobby junk as you would expect.
-suspension also very basic, with no adjustments… I just want to get around on it not go do some crazy single track with baby heads so maybe it‘ll be ok as is. May make upgrades depending.
-I’m debating taking the motor apart and greasing the planetary gears or maybe put some miles first and then greasing them after a wear in period of 100-200 miles (?).
-not sure there is enough extra front motor cable slack to allow for the suspension move but will try to get some extra.
Chaotic_cRicKeT@reddit
Curious to hear your thoughts note that it has arrived!
emotionally-stable27@reddit
I think 1k usd will get you decent quality from China. I’d be more worried about the quality of the batteries than the bike itself
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
I agree.
grovesancho@reddit
This sounds like a monster. Probably heavy and I wouldn't recommend it to someone new to bicycling or a beginner, but this beast sounds pretty fun to someone acclimated to heavy and powerful ebikes.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
well I have an engwe pro which is kinda heavy 75ish and kawasaki klx250s and a Suzuki vstrom and have had a lot of other motorcycles so I'll be OK, but yea I agree it's not for someone new to heavy 2 wheeled machines... I understand it weighs about 100lbs... sounds awesome...can't wait...
grovesancho@reddit
Yeah, I think you will be more than fine, I think you will enjoy this beast a lot. Sounds like a lot of fun for an experienced rider.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
Yea I hope so, china stuff is a gamble but this was only 1100 usd otd so very reasonable price wise.
OOFMONSTER120@reddit
Can you let me know what happens? I am very curious and I'm thinking about getting one in july.
Snoo_86399@reddit (OP)
sure no problem... currently winter here BUT spring is around the corner so I I'll have nough time to put it through it's paces.
