Is My R5 7600 & 7800XT Considered A Mid-Range Build?

Your build is closer to high end than low end, but it’s mostly relative to the best available parts on the market. Your build is probably close to upper mid range performance wise, but what’s most important is how it performs for what you want to do with it. You’ve got a 1440p high performance build for most titles and virtually all popular titles. That’s a great build that’ll serve you well for years. There’s a growing gap in the best performing parts and the mid range parts. That’s both a price gap and performance gap. The flagship model products, especially if GPUs, have “justified” pricing relative to how they perform to the next best option. But yeah, prices are atrocious right now. GPUs especially that are considered “high end” are basically $1000 themselves. So while a $600 GPU is solid performance, it’s basically half the cost of high end hardware. $1000 used to be the sweet spot for fantastic build prices, now it’s sitting closer to $1500, and that’s primarily due to GPU pricing. Don’t worry about where your PC sits on the relative scale though. Soon your parts will be several years old and the only thing that matters will be how well it carries itself in games. There’s always someone with nicer and newer stuff than you.
