ULPT request Block certain radio station

Any way to block a certain raduo frequency? The constant repeat of horrible music which tries to force me to like it is slowly driving me insane at work. Several prople do 'ot want to change it so I'm currently stuck with it

Well, it's illegal, unethical, and possibly challenging, but pirate radio! Get a radio transmitter, and broadcast whatever you want (even static or silence) on that channel. Small transmitter is unlikely to get you caught, TBH.

On today's episode of ULPT: someone asking about [straight-up federal crimes](https://www.fcc.gov/general/jammer-enforcement#:~:text=Jamming%20Prohibited&text=The%20use%20of%20a%20phone,classroom%2C%20residence%2C%20or%20vehicle). It's called signal jamming. Don't fuck with jamming. If you're asking about it like this, you're gonna get a friendly knock on your door from the FCC. The FCC is significantly richer and smarter than you, and as long as the inverse square law exists, radio signals (such as what a jammer emits) are easy to trace back to source for skilled pros.

Well I assumed you live in the USA. Looks like you live in Belgium based on your profile? So don't be a smartass and substitute "BIPT" instead of FCC, then read everything else I said and there you go. Basically if you live in the free world, you've got your country's equivalent of the FCC to contend with. Unregulated radio waves can mess up everything from emergency services to military communication to flight control. They take it seriously everywhere.

Whats the radio station frequency? It should be in the name, like "101.9 THE MARSUPIAL". I'm pretty sure you could use one of these little FM transmitters and set it to the station you hate and then just keep it powered up at work. Other stations would still work. If you want to be extra unethical you could hide it on the premises and change the batteries occasionally, or even wire it into the building electricity or into a computer. You would want it near the radio.
