Microsoft Apps for Business (Outlook) not able to create/edit/modify signatures

Does anyone know if there's a fix to not being able to create/modify or edit signatures within Outlook Desktop App (latest 365 version)? Even though I've placed the Sig files in the typical location, the Outlook app does not load any signatures, nor can I actually select the NEW button to create a new signature. It's like it's trying to load signatures from a MS365 account, but this client does not use Exchange online, so nothing is loading. Any help would be appreciated.

One of the recent updates moved signatures to sync to the cloud, could be related. One item I noticed in your screenshot is that no account at the top is being selected? Also, check the signature files exist here (or copy them to here and see if that helps them appear to be able to be selected or edited): ou can find the various files that make up your Outlook signatures in one of the following locations: Windows 10 drive:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures Older versions of Windows drive:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

Reverting to Version 2302 (Build 16130.20218) resolved the issue. I have a ticket open with MS. Doing an upgrade now to the latest version after having the signatures in place to see if they are still retained and editable.

Thanks for the reply. There is a google workspace sync for MS Outlook account set up within the profile. Signature files are in the signatures location in App Data copied from the users previous workstation. I think you’re right when you mention it being something to do with the sync to cloud functionality. In the past I’ve at least seen two tabs that would be selectable to chose signature on device or sig in cloud , none of which are showing. This is the weird issue. Maybe I’ll try configuring just a regular mail account via imap and see if it opens up these options.
