Is this worth it?

Hey guys, looking to buy a new PC.
I play games including but not limited to RDR2, GTA v, minecraft, roblox , etc.
I don't really play AAA games except RDR2 and GTA v..
hoping to run rdr2 and gta v at atleast 60 FPS I don't really care about graphics as long as it doesn't look terrible
will be using it daily for gaming and browsing

The 3050 is a GPU that should not exist. Never ever buy a xx50 card. The xx60 is the bare minimum, where the xx70 is the better mid card.

It should be able to run most of them at 60 fps, but it might struggle in the long run because of it only having 16GB of ram.

I've been using the same laptop for 5 years with 8GB of ram and now it's failing so I guess RAM won't be an issue but do you think I should get it (it's a prebuilt, maybe I could upgrade in the future if needed) or maybe an acer nitro V? heard it was a good laptop
MarkusKF@reddit
Dont get a laptop for gaming. It’s a pain in the ass cooling wise and for upgrading in the future. I would go with the prebuilt one. The RAM isn’t an issue yet, but if you want to play some of the newer AAA games 16GB might struggle in some of them

5500 and especially the 3050 are generally bad buys, the 3050 is especially terrible. Usually you can find something like a 6600 for a similar price.
Also at your budget use the stock cooler and get at least a bronze PSU.
What country are you in?
RadRod123@reddit (OP)
Yeah fair enough
I don't live in the US and would much rather order parts off amazon.
Is there anything specific you'd recommend?
Scarabesque@reddit
What country?
RadRod123@reddit (OP)
I live in the middle east, would rather not share. sorry if it comes across as rude because I'm technically asking for help
Scarabesque@reddit
No worries. It was just to make it potentially easier to find parts, bnut middle eastern countries aren't on pcpartpicker anyway.
If you have a smaller market/less choice I would look around for the above CPUs. What could help is assemble a PC on pcpartpicker in US or Germany to get an idea of what are good value parts andd try to find something that looks most like it.
3050 is a huge mistake. 6600, 6600xt, 3060, 4060, B570 are all way better choices that will affect gaming performance a lot.
For CPUs the two from the post above are generally best value.

Thats a very weak gaming CPU and GPU. The $600 build here is much better for the price:
