No Display after adding PCIe card

So I've booted up my ancient GTX 650 pc to serve as the purpose of digitalizing old Hi8 and MiniDV videos. To get the best quality for this I bought a Startech FireWire PCIe card to connect the old JVC camera to my PC. Now when I install the card on my third and only leftover PCIe slot, my pc will boot up, but with no display on the screen. The monitor tells me it has received no signal.
When I remove the card again it works fine. Tried al sorts of troubleshooting through BIOS options but I'm out of ideas.
Any one familiar with this ancient technology that knows what this could be?
For information: - I only have 1 slot left, other 2 used by GPU. - Only have 1 HDMI on my GPU - Motherboard has VGA but I'm searching for a cable still - PSU is more than enough for everything.

Check bios for a setting related to video or vga priority and set it to your pcie slot.
