Do I need an upgrade?

Hey Guys,
I am upgrading my Pc for Monster Hunter Wilds. I tested my system with the beta before, but unfortunately the textures are very blurry and i am having some frame drops. The frame drops are nothing that would need fixing but, the graphics are actually an issue to me. My GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT and my current CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics. Is there a possible way to play this game properly on low or mid-settings with this build, or should I upgrade? Which components should I get?

Hey! You should include more info about which ram, mobo and resolution(1080p/1440P) you are running. Also if the game is launched from an M.2, SSD or a HDD. Tbh, I would upgrade the CPU and/or the GPU. Depending on if the MOBO is good then Ryzen 5 5600/5600X or Ryzen 7 5700X/5800X would be a nice upgrade. GPU wise, you might get a good deal on a 7000 series GPU when the 9000 series releases at the end of the month.

Ok, thanks for the recommendations. Do I really need to upgrade the GPU to play it properly?

Cpu will only help so much, but might be what you need to be able to play without problems. Have you checked that you aren’t thermal throttling?
