Can you help me not cry on my flight this afternoon?

What’s a fun fact about aviation you can tell me that maybe will alleviate my feelings of doom? Lol I’ll be on an airbus by the way, approx 2.5 hour flight.

Flying still gives you a chance to unplug and just be without the constant barrage of information you normally have. No texts, no spam calls, no breaking news updates… put your devices in airplane mode, download a book or a podcast or a playlist, and just enjoy relative solitude and peace for a bit.
And I know you can have onboard WiFi on some carriers, and travel can be a hassle, and people can be irritating and worse, but flying is one of the few times where it’s still valid to go (relatively) radio silent for a bit and just be a human. Enjoy!

When its the pilots time, its your time. Don’t worry, you have two up there and it is by far the safest way to travel

There's 100,000 flights around the world every day, give or take. How many of those do you ever hear about? Commercial aviation is incredibly safe.
Go and hit up r/fearofflying, too, might be a good pit stop for you today. Can ask for the same advice, or many ask to have their flights tracked.
You'll do fine, go have a good flight!
