Will always be my favorite cartoon movie!

I’m honestly a bit surprised I didn’t turn out to be a furry considering how obsessed I was with that movie, lol. The Sword in the Stone was another good one.

I had both this and The Sword in the Stone in VHS and absolutely wore them out.

I would love to see stats on how many times I've seen this movie in my life. A lot, but I don't have any sense on whether it's 50 or 500.

It’s the only Disney movie from that era that I got. The others just seemed unnecessarily scary and obsessed with royalty. This movie had real heart and struggle, and finally lampooned royalty (essentially).

Fun Xennial fact: the song from The HamsterDance is the same the Rooster, Alan-a-Dale, whistles at the beginning of yhe movie.

This movie is the only version of Robin Hood I will accept. Except maybe the Mel Brooks spoof Men In Tights.

It's still one of my favorites! It was also my introduction to Roger Miller. Learning the "Oo de laly" Rooster was also the King of the Road guy was wild lol
