I would love to see stats on how many times I've seen this movie in my life. A lot, but I don't have any sense on whether it's 50 or 500.

It’s the only Disney movie from that era that I got. The others just seemed unnecessarily scary and obsessed with royalty. This movie had real heart and struggle, and finally lampooned royalty (essentially).

It's still one of my favorites! It was also my introduction to Roger Miller. Learning the "Oo de laly" Rooster was also the King of the Road guy was wild lol
