V-22 squaking 7700 with rapid descent

My son was just telling me of a V-22 somewhere in the Philippines, in rapid descent of -2000 and -1700, squaking 7700. It was last on radar at 3400' with 1500'/min descent. This is Feb. 14 @ 23:30 eastern time. Would anyone have more information regarding this situation?

Looks like it took a spin before last FR24 detection just a few miles east of Balesin Island in the Philippines around 12:12PM PH local time (or 11:12PM here in the east coast)

So, "We need to land NOW." Vs "Fuckfuckfuckfuck!"

Osprey pilot here. Not a lot of info to go off of obviously, but 7700 and only 1500 fpm decent tells me the aircraft is likely still controllable.
Fingers crossed.

This airframe seems to be in the news quite a bit.

It was for aircraft 169452. It looks like it has been pulled. I hope everyone is ok.
