Please do your research about Cava before consuming any amount of it. It can have some unpleasant side effects and can mess with your medications. It's a psychoactive substance

Love this place - one of the few true third places if found here in Dallas. I’ve made multiple friends and have even seen people meet their SOs! Worth giving a trying you’re looking to for a bar alternative with the same social atmosphere!
(and before anyone says anything about “liver damage”, I recently got a full spectrum blood panel and came back with perfect liver markers after >1 year of kava/kratom consumption - in moderation this stuff is fine and much easier on the body than alcohol).

Kava is a substance made from a plant that is native to the Pacific Islands, and it has sedative and psychoactive properties. It can be consumed in various ways, including in food and beverage products. Over the past few decades, so-called “kava bars” have risen in popularity across the United States, including in Colorado. Many of these spaces promote kava as offering benefits like improving sleep and easing anxiety. Some claim kava creates a “buzz” that is similar to the effects of alcohol.
TIL what Kava is

It also has properties that can cause severe liver damage.

If abused, like anything in life, it will fuck you up. I highly recommend Kava and Kratom for pain management, definitely helps reduce irritability, especially reducing joint pain. Problem is every gas station and vape shop sell it, there's all these certified pure labels, you have to really know ingredient wise what your purchasing. A friend recommended it after a car wreck a few years back, it took a few times to find the correct dosage, not too much or too little. But that was over 5 years ago, I can't imagine trying to navigate that now. A nice Kava tea on a winter morning is close to a mother's hug, just don't have it every morning, that's where the damage comes in. Hopefully this new bar has their dosage correct, with pure ingredients, and good service. Makes for a nice time.

Something that can cause acute liver damage doesn't sound sober to me. 😂 I could see this going very badly.
