These are the candies my local grocery store has been stocking in the highest profile "impulse purchase" spot in the checkout lanes. You know that space next to the raised table where people used to use to write checks? That space.

I am glad, because it is so easy to resist the temptation! If they had Valentine's Reese's cups or Kisses or something I would struggle.

A decade (or so) ago I bought these (type of) hearts from the Vermont Country store. They were incredible tasting, kinda soft chalky and fruity tasting. They were sooo freakin good and they blew the cheap (mass produced) ones away!

I used to scrape the words off and replace them with stuff like "EAT SHIT", "LET'S FUCK", "ANAL?", etc. and then put them back. Probably like 90+% just got eaten without anyone noticing, but it was still worth it.
