Anyone got any idea how to do this? Princess’s got some get up and go but caps at 20mph…
Any help would be appreciated!

Just to follow up on my previous comment the Cycrun has a 36v 750w motor being over volted to 48v with a multi voltage controller set at 48v on the display. The Cychunter is a 48v 1000w motor. Keep this in mind... All Cycrown ebikes displays are locked as well as the controller. Even if you change the controller the display will still only let you change the 4 parameters. If you type in the model of that display in Amazon you will find it. Its unlocked! Also ordered the controller on Amazon. It is not plug and play. Be good at making connectors with multiple wires or it become more tidius with splicing and lots of electrical tape. On the Cychunter bike' I used a rockbro phone bag for my controller compartment. You will not be able to put another controller in that battery rack. New controller is too big. I mounted in that triangle area under the seat where the shock knuckle is. It will all fit, have to reroute your cables. Display $52 controller $50. Last thing I purchased my Cychunter with 1 battery and added the second battery myself. You will probably need that duel battery converter to safely run 2 batteries because I would assume its built in to the factory controller that you will replace. But im not positve on that. Any other questions, feel free to ask

Can you shoot me which display and controller you used for the CycHunter? I'd like to do this. Thanks, mate!

It was the S830 display. I may of mentioned it was the same display but its different. It is one that some Cycrown bikes use but different than the color display.. 50 or 60 bucks, works well. I

Please make a video of you doing this. Post it on YouTube and send it to me

Could you by any chance walk me though doing these modifications? As well as the links for the parts you used please? Thank you very much!

that would be illegal. in a lot of places. and your askikng how to do something illegal in a public forum. you wanna rethink this one chief, cause all of us are starting to suffer because of people who do things like this.

I have a Cycrown Cychunter, CycFree, CycRun. They just ok. Brake pads do suck! My 36v CycRun I replaced the locked display, locked controller, went to a 48v controller and 48v batterry. Overvolting the 36v motor. 34mph No issues except lost turn signals and you have to turn on the light by holding down up arrow on the display. Light has to be on for horn to work. CYCHUNTER: Made all the same replacements but not overvolting the motor. 35mph... Get better brake pads!

Press “+” and “-“ for 2 seconds to jump into parameter settings and toggle through the options to see if there's a speed option.

I have a Cychunter, purchased with 1 battery and installed the second battery. Yeah I cant seem to get around only being able to change 4 parameters. Tried contacting Cycrown but they want an order# but I did not purchase from them. They need the order # because they offer different platforms on the same bikes, based on local laws. I still believe there is a way to bypass but possibly not. Easiest and cheapest way is to get 52v controller with 52v batteries. The motor will have no problem with overvoltage. The biggest issue is you will not find a plug and play controller so you will need to make some connections yourself and learn the controller with the motor. Cycrown bikes, at least on that model have the motor controller wire going directly into the controller and its 12 wires. And the second wire that runs directly into the controller is a 9 wire, so it becomes a pain in the ass making up those connections. If you really like the bike like I do and want to invest in it I would use Grin Technologies. Expensive, so you really need to like the bike you are upgrading. You can buy kits on Amazon and likely get it to work but with no support! Some would say buy a faster bike or pedal faster but they are missing the obvious point which is you like the bike, and its comfortable. I hope this helps! Ive been thru it all with Cychunter and decided 28mph was fast enough. If you just want something faster I would go with the motor goat v3. Same style of ebike and offers duel battery option. Its a BEAST! Look at some reviews on that. Its 3 times more expensive than Cychunter though. If you do find away around the 4 parameters though, throw it up so we all know. Thanks!
