How long does it take to get between Stansted Arrivals and Departures?

I’m planning to fly to Venice from Stansted soon. I’d prefer to fly directly from Ireland of course but this option is fractions of the price so it’s non optional to take the cheaper option. The flight to Stansted is 5:45 and it says arrival time is around 7:10. This is Ryanair of course so it’s a gamble I understand. The flight to Venice is then at 8:30 so the gate probably closes half an hour before. I know it’s an extremely tight time window. I only want to carry hand luggage so I won’t be waiting for bags. In the event everything went according to plan time wise and I was through security quickly so I have any chance of making it? I know I’d have to move my ass and I know this time window is very tight.

You will be fine. Getting through Stansted in both directions is very fast. However, I don't know how new ETA system might affect things.

A 5 minute walk once you clear the baggage carousels. It’s two ends of the same large terminal building.

*Maybe* if you pay for the front row seats and security fast pass you could make it if you ran. 7:10 touchdown probably means 7:30 deplaning, then say ten minutes to get through arrivals and twenty for security and in theory you have just enough time, but it's not a risk I'd want to take.

That would be too tight for me. You have no buffer at all for delays. What Venice airport are you looking at? Treviso is likely cheaper than Marco Polo and has easy train and bus connections to Venice.

Not long to get between arrivals and departures, though the exact time depends on which terminals you are using. In any case, allow 20 minutes after disembarking. How long it takes to go back through security (if you need to) is a different question.....
