Anyone use Rate Punk for cheaper flights?

Got an email and the standard annual rate for gaining access to cheaper flights is only $17.68. Wondering if anyone uses/used them and if it was worth it. TIA

Book direct with the airlines whenever possible, not via third parties.

That’s not true. Flight hub for example And others like this work just fine and are a lot cheaper.

I truly have never gotten a better deal ordering from the airline directly. I would be curious of the process in which you get better prices.

I've ran into same issues. I find a good flight and price on expedia, skyscanner, google flights etc, then go to the airlines website and it's usually much more on the airlines website

The issue I’ve found with Google Flights is that it gives you the bare-bones rate—lowest class, no seat choice, pay for bags, etc—but then you go to the carrier website and realize that main cabin, or choosing your seats etc actually costs more. If you’re the type of traveler who is good with that—and for short flights, I am—then that’s awesome. But it doesn’t tend to work for what I’m looking for.

I signed up for this and quickly realised that the deals they found were nothing special or different from what I can find myself with google flights so I cancelled on the same day and emailed asking for a refund, since on their site it says that they offer a 14 day money back guarantee. The person who replied to me said that "they'd like to offer me a 50% refund, how's that?" I actually couldn't believe how deceptive they were acting! I replied saying, no I'd like a full refund, with a screenshot to their 14-day guarantee and thankfully got a reply from them saying okay you can get a refund lol. The whole thing was scammy and full of popups and ads to try to get you to sign up to their premium memberships - just terrible. I'd avoid like the plague next time.

I know this is old, but I was wondering, would a free alternative be something you'd use?

I find this website to be useless. They take your money for registering, it doesn’t work and they keep asking for money for upgrade to business class and choosing more destinations. It’s just a scam. Avoid using it. It doesn’t work.
