Literally just rocks. Like nice, round, smooth, perfect looking rocks.

In an ideal world I guess I'd like to find something like this https://i.etsystatic.com/23779972/r/il/a26235/4866944797/il_fullxfull.4866944797_kbon.jpg
But that's probably impossible to find. Maybe something like this? https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Frllv5kobt8811.jpg

I recommend the shores of Lake Superior. Try Duluth or Grand Marais.

I’ve been there but wasn’t rock hunting last time! Love that area

Take it a step further...we are driving distance from Dino digs. Google it.

Some buildings use a lot soft smooth rocks in their outdoor areas. I can't remember where that was from 10-15 years ago.

Are you looking for like river bed rocks for landscaping? Or like rock collecting?
You can find both stores specific to both in the DFW area haha.
achickennugget@reddit (OP)
Not so much rock collecting as just trying to find a single really nice rock

Go to a stone supply and have a look at Texas bull rock. It comes by the yard. They will also have river rock that might interest you.

Whatever r/Texas has been putting in their pipes seems to be the best quality.

Have you ever looked in the river along the trail at Harry Moss Park? I'm not a rock guy myself but a riverbed is the first place I'd look for that.

Ooh I'll check it out, thanks!
