Where would you move to today if you wanted to be within walkable distance of the sea?

I live in Scarborough, ok beach, but I was spoilt my a seven mile white sandy one at home in Ireland so I’m pretty judgy on beaches. Several big supermarkets, an hour from York, 45 minutes to Whitby. A few good English heritage sites within an hours drive. Nice woodland that’s free to walk. Lots of nice green spaces. Not terribly far from airports. The open air theatre has some pretty big bands playing this year as well. It’s also not far to malton which has a good found market and lots of food festivals and independent bakeries, coffee roasters, ice cream parlour etc etc, it’s a very foodie town. Whitby is another good shout but it’s very busy in summer, that said I always bring my kids there at least once during summer as they have an excellent playground. Winters are cold there, you get wind from the North Pole and it’s just freezing. But it’s a great town we always have a lot of fun there, we don’t even always go to the beach as there’s plenty of other stuff to do. I mostly chose Scarborough as my kids dad is from here and I fell in love with Scarborough first time I ever came here 20 years ago. Some of what I loved is now gone but there’s a lot of wonderful things here for young families and a pretty low crime rate. Houses are cheaper than a good chunk of the country as well. The job market is heavily tourist/hospitality based here but there are other industries too
