Another Coswheel horror story

I ordered a Coswheel GT20 about a month ago, after doing too little research. I was attracted by the specs, the looks, and the price. Win, win, win, what's not to love?
The bike that arrived didn't turn on. Battery has a huge dent in it right out of the box. After going back and forth with their support all day (including buying a multimeter just to run experiments for them), they told me their plan: Make me wait 4 business days for them to ship me a box to put the bike back in, disassemble and re-pack the bike myself, then make me wait 2 more business days for a courier to show up, then wait 4 business days for the bike to get back to them, then wait 2 business days for them to inspect it at their Chinese headquarters, and only after 2-3 weeks of all that will I get another bike shipped to me, which hopefully after yet another week will have a battery that works (or start the whole "wait a month for another bike" process again, I suppose). Hard pass.
On top of all that, when I submitted a review on their website (which only has 10 5-star reviews and 1 4-star review, publicly visible anyway) describing my experience, the review has been held in pending status indefinitely. It's funny though, they give themselves a great big "Diamond Transparency 100.0" sticker right above the reviews they're hiding.
At this point I'm just going to send them back the bike and pray for a refund (or start the chargeback process), there's very little they could possibly do to regain my trust. Since they're hiding my review, I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with this company; sorry I know this probably isn't the right place for that, I'm not sure where else to go. Advice (including alternate ebike suggestions) is definitely welcome! Supporting their competitors would be a happy end to this miserable story.

Had Coswheel GT20 for about 2 years since I was attracted by looks also didn't knew much about ebikes.Used it as commuter to work and back(5miles to and 5 back from work)Generally speaking you get what you paid for. Parts are meh, overall quality also meh realistic range on full throttle about 30miles BUT suprisingly this piece of junk survived 2 years few accidents and yet somehow it still runs.Would I recommend it in general? NO but if you're desperate for short distance commuter then well it's not the worst choice however maybe I was just lucky with mine.

My Experience with the Coswheel T20 – Disappointing Quality and Lack of Responsibility
I purchased the Coswheel T20 expecting a reliable and robust electric bicycle. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from that. What initially appeared to be a powerful and stylish e-bike has turned into a series of safety issues and costly repairs, compounded by a lack of accountability from the manufacturer.
The first issue emerged within weeks of purchase. The saddle was poorly assembled — the staples holding the synthetic leather in place came loose one by one, rendering it unusable. This happened through normal use and indicated substandard quality control at the factory level.
Soon after, several rear spokes began to snap spontaneously. It became clear that the original spokes were not strong enough to handle the torque of the powerful rear hub motor. No solution was provided by the manufacturer. I had to find thicker stainless steel spokes myself and have the rear wheel rebuilt — at my own cost.
The most alarming failure occurred when the rear swing arm (afterbridge) broke completely during normal, on-road use. This is a serious structural defect with clear safety implications. Yet again, Coswheel refused to take responsibility. No investigation, no product recall, just a suggestion that I buy a new part at a discount — despite the product clearly not meeting basic durability expectations.
Consumers should also pay close attention to the limited warranty terms offered by Coswheel. The short coverage period and strict exclusions suggest that even the manufacturer does not have confidence in the long-term integrity of their own components. In hindsight, this should have been a red flag.
Final thoughts:
These issues are not isolated but point to deeper problems with component quality, engineering design, and corporate ethics. The lack of support or responsibility from Coswheel makes it clear that customer safety and satisfaction are not priorities.
I have reported this to the Dutch consumer safety authority (NVWA) and will be raising the matter further within the EU.
Until Coswheel demonstrates a clear commitment to safety, quality control, and customer care, I cannot recommend this product to any buyer.

Purchase through a third party seller like Amazon. That way you're insured to get a return or an exchange should anything be wrong with the product.

Yup, don't damage the box, inspection, if damaged, back to Amazon it goes!
