IPAs all the way. The stuff made by Beavertown, Tiny Rebel, Northern Monk, Brewdog etc. In a pub I'd only go for lager style beers if that's all there was on draught.

I'm not fussy. Some people are. If I'm at home with family watching the football I'll just get some of whatever lager's on special offer. If I'm at the pub I might choose a local lager or ale that I know is good, or Guinness, but in chains usually just Madri or something. I know it's not 'authentic', I don't care if it's Spoons.

On draft in a normal pub: Peroni Bottled beer easily available: Budvar But I really like Belgian beer, my local has Früli on draft and lambics in the fridge.

My typical go to is Desperados. The flavour is just spot on for me. I love their Red edition but I can only pick it up in European stores now and it’s expensive. Failing that I enjoy Heineken, or Guinness depending what mood I’m in. I don’t drink as much now, but also Heineken and Guinness do my favourite alcohol free versions too

I’m a craft beer twat, so I will drink anything that’s interesting that I might not have had before. It is pretty rare for me to drink the same beer twice. I live alone, so I don’t drink at home. Without the social aspect beer just doesn’t have the same appeal. I went out for a 40th birthday lunch for a friend today and had a couple of beers made locally. One was a cherry sour and the other a vanilla stout. Neither were mind-blowing, but both were pleasant.

Why is it a surprise that we drink a Dutch beer in the UK? The Netherlands is only about 90 miles away and we have Heineken breweries in the UK. In fact we are nearer to the Netherlands than Serbia is. I like to drink "Naked Ladies" which is a local beer brewed in Twickenham where I live. If I am drinking lager then I drink Kronenbourg.

"Beer" is a bit of a generic term, I think. I like ales, bitters, stouts and pilsners mainly. Old Speckled Hen (Old Crafty Hen too) Old Peculier Innis & Gunn Duvel Brains Dark Leffe Krombacher of course Guinness, but Black Heart by Brewdog and Camden Stout are just as palatable.

I mainly drink Budweiser - my dad drinks it, so once I hit the age where I was allowed to drink at home, it was the beer I had access to and started off drinking. Sure, I enjoy other brands, but I’ll usually go for Bud first.

I'll drink pretty much any beer except stout or wheat beer. I tend towards ales like Ghost Ship or Doombar but I do like a good cider after 14 years living in the West Country. I'll drink any pissy old lager too.

Heineken is available but it was probably product placement. There are about 1800 breweries in the UK, they all brew at least 2 or 3 different beers. Ales, IPA's, pilsner, stout, porter, you name it someone brews it.

Depends what the pub I'm in has on tap. Could be anything really, there's loads of different options. If it's from the supermarket, it depends what I feel like at the time, could be cans or bottles, maybe Coors light, Corona, Becks, Moretti, Cruz Campo, green, even a Budweiser if it's on offer. There's loads I've missed off too, but it really depends what's on offer or what I fancy

There's an enormous range - a multitude of craft beers from tiny breweries to a few big names like Guinness, Heineken, Carlsberg and the like. I prefer the ales over the lager styles. Also there's typically quite a range of seriously alcoholic ciders.
