I'm a army helicopter mechanic. 15u and 15r. While i was stationed in korea my unit received two chinooks from a unit in Hawaii. They were delivered to Yongsan by the antonov.
I was army aviation for 10 years. 2 deployments to Iraq. My biggest aviation flex is that I once downloaded two chinooks off of the antonov. Didn't get to fly on it. But I saw it in person and helped unload two chinook helicopters out of it. I'm one of a small percentage of aviators that have ever come close to the one and only antonov. It's an honor. And something only an aviator can appreciate.
