I used to play MODs on my LCII with Sound-Trecker.
Try it out, it might work better.

Weird, considering the 1040 has an older slower chip. I guess it's to do with the management of the hardware, Mac OS must be bloated to multitask properly??
Wait Is that music creating software for old mac os? If so then what is it becuse I would rather have that for Mac os 8 in my iBook then making it super slow with OSX for garage band
Thexder 4 voice driver worked on my Mac Plus just fine (with poor game performance) so I was wondering if a MOD player could be written but this 030 is struggling.
Another reply said there is one, called sound tracker. It works really well actually. Apparently there’s also an even older version of it for system 6 that may work on 68000 machines?
It was mostly just the software being way too heavy for it. I downloaded a much lighter MOD player and it’s way better. It even plays in 22khz!
Although no .XM, .SM3, or .IT support. Oh well.
