What is your minor ‘the kids are wrong’ opinion?

For me it’s not taking earbuds out during conversation. I put this down to younger people being so used to wearing them that it doesn’t occur to take them out and I don’t think they are using them when talking, they just keep them in. To me it’s rude but that is probably fuddy-duddiness, what is your equivalent?

Agree with this one, it amazes me when families are out (like on a day trip) and one of the kids has headphones in. Id not have my kids out and about with me with headphones

As someone autistic who used to wear headphones everywhere as a kid, I’m not saying it’s the same for every kid you see with headphones obviously, but it really made me feel happy and safe and maybe, whether they have autism or not, it might do the same for some of these kids. And it’s not like they can’t turn the volume down or pause the song if someone wants to talk to them.

I was sat at a secondary school concert last week for the end of term and I swear there was a child in the row in front of me watching a cartoon on a tablet without headphones. Perhaps a case for the earphones after all? The volume was comparitively low, but very noticeable between performances onstage.
