Nvidia Drivers causing GPU fans to spin 100% for a minute each boot

I have recently built a PC with a new GPU and freshly installed Windows 11.
I noticed that GPU fans are spinning at full speed each time I boot the PC, as soon as I can see Windows login screen until about a minute has passed.
Booting in safe mode doesn't spin the fans at 100%, so the next thing I tried was Autoruns.exe to disable almost everything and enable 4-5 things between reboots. It finally came down to Nvidia Drivers
To prove it I went to control panel and uninstalled Nvidia Drivers. Rebooted. GPU fans were ok.
A couple of minutes after I rebooted without drivers Windows decided to automatically install some (I noticed because my secondary monitor started working again) and the GPU fans immediately spun up to 100%.
How can I fix this issue?
My GPU is a PNY RTX 4090 XLR8 OC Verto EPIC-X, Thank you!
Update: it was caused by one of the fans being blocked and stuck to 0 RPM. Fixed it by moving the GPU support blocking the fan

Same here. I just discovered the fact that the problem is caused by the nvidia driver
Can you explain the solution in detail that you mentioned on the update title?

I also need to know

I use a vertical support for the weight of the GPU, it was physically blocking one of the fans so I just moved it a little

Them it was a hardware issue, but not driver. I have a notebook, so I don't know what to do
Reinstalling win11 doesn't help.

same here.....3080ti.
I got so neurotic that I stepped back to older drivers, then up to the release from earlier this week.
I even went back and downgraded all the Intel drivers and software to old versions MSI suggested for my motherboard. Also completely checked my Windows 10 install for flaw.
I even explored different ideas with software like FanControl. Nothing stopped this behavior.
Something has changed. Not the end of the world, just a change from what used to be.

Hey there! I fixed it.
It was caused by the GPU support blocking one of the three fans, and the drivers, as a safe mechanisms, when one fan is blocked ramps up everything to 100%
So basically whenever the GPU was idle, all fans are turned off completely, but as soon as they start spinning, because one of the fan is blocked, all fans spin at full speed.
I solved it by moving the GPU support and letting all fan seen freely.

Thank you!! This one saved me. It wasnt the support, in my case, it was the PCI cable that was blocking one of the fans. I made some changes in the case fans, and, somehow, the cable got stuck in one of the GPU fans. Simple solve

Nice! Glad to hear

This is reassuring to me! My one fan just died and the 2 others started spinning at full speed. I kept tweaking my power settings and fan curve, believing it was some software issue.

Yeah it's probably the same issue
