I love the Dude, but he's a dead beat. What if he gave Bunny a rubber check for "what have you"? Could have changed the whole ludicrous story. Bunny would also be chasing the Dude for her thousand dollars. Or she might have fallen in love with, "his dick or his rod or his johnson." At any rate, the Dude would have had his pipes cleaned much earlier in the proceedings and would have been thinking more clearly throughout.

I don’t think so, Achiever; the tone of his voice, and that he made the comment while being ushered out, without fighting back, makes it seem that he thought her rate was far too high. I believe the dude was satisfied enough getting the grifted rug (let’s not forget, he technically stole that rug from TBL), and wasn’t concerned at all with the $1,000 what-have-you.
