Anyone familiar with the Wander Onwards Class with Vanessa?

I've been following the Wander Onwards social accounts for a while and have attended the virtual info sessions but never purchased the class because I've been chicken. I find it odd that I cannot find any reviews that are not affiliated with W.O or part of a promotional campaign. I want to hear from people who have taken this course to learn how to move abroad etc to see if it is worth it, what to be prepared for to make the most of it etc.
Please let me know if you or someone you know that has taken this course or done the 1-1 coaching as well.

If you can’t find reviews it likely means that nobody is using them or they suppress reviews, something that is possible.

That's what I figured re: suppressed reviews. But I'm not even finding positive ones unless they're part of promotional materials that they post or is included in podcast/blog that they participated in to promote the "program"
I've been hesitating whether I should go full expat or stay where I am but I need guidance from people who have done it and can help me find my way w/o being lured into a sketchy paid scheme.
I just joined this expat subreddit I hope to learn more from everyone here.

This sub is good but also do a search on YouTube. You will find lots of people who have moved overseas. I wouldn't pay for a course or coach.

Vanessa from Wander Onwards here 👋🏽
I also DYI’d all my moves over the last 13 years (including immigration), but it was lonely and a mess.
What I try to provide in the Master Class is a community of other people doing the same move and a top tier Find a Job Abroad module. My clients range from being VPs/Principal ICs to entry level.
I’ve personally done everything from teach English to working as an emergency aid worker to working in big tech.

Hey it’s Vanessa from Wander Onwards!
I am transitioning my Master Class to be under my startup so I do apologize for this delay in a centralized location for reviews. The reviews on my Master Class page are screenshots from IG from past participants.
If you email me, I can connect you with past graduates who have made the move thanks to the class for a real feedback.

Hey - it’s Vanessa from Wander Onwards here 👋🏽
I agree that it would be much more helpful to have a Trust Pilot-kinda thing for reviews. I am transitioning the Master Class to be a part of my new EU job seeking platform go-onwards.com and will setup Trust Pilot shortly. Right now I just take screenshots from IG of past clients feedback.
Also, fair feedback about my potty mouth. Unfortunately, I don’t have a filter so I’m probably not the coach for you and that’s okay :) Best if luck on everyone’s move!!

Hello, I realize you posted this a year ago. Have you moved abroad? I hired Vanessa and happy I did. I’m currently in the process of moving abroad with the plan to learn a new-ish language and start applying to jobs.

Has she been able to help you find a job?
Pretty-Ambition-2145@reddit
I actually hired her and she helped me land a job in the EU in less than a month. It was crazy, I was just trying to connect more with the expat community and see what could be out there and boom, she knew someone who knew someone and now six months later I'm writing you from the EU. For the money I spent it was definitely worth it. I will concede that I'm not sure how much I am an outlier. I have an advanced degree, experience and some licensing that qualified me as a highly skilled worker in the EU. But she is starting another business to help Americans land jobs in the EU so it's right up her alley, which I didn't know when I hired her. And she has other out of the box ideas that can help people get to another country sooner rather than later, if that's what you want.

Thank you for your insight! I'll revisit this again and see what she is offering.

I just sat in the course, and I agree that it's a money-grab. I'm sure she helps people, but as someone else posted, a lot of this is free on YouTube. I think this would benefit someone who doesn't have the time to do all the research and basically pay her to figure it out for her. She may be an expert in moving abroad, but having a husband who is an EU citizen helped.
On another note, while I drop the F-bomb on a daily basis, I would never do it on a live webinar in a professional setting. For someone who seems to be successful in her career, she came across somewhat juvenile in her presentation skills. Additionally, she talked about irrelevant matters instead of getting to the point. It got to the point, that I didn't watch her anymore; I just had the laptop on, listened to her, while I was cleaning my kitchen.

Yes! I was turned off by the cursing. That's not a way to seem "cool". That was disappointing. I've checked out that webinar before and I felt like something was not genuine.
Historical_Day7702@reddit
Her cursing and the way she spoke was juvenile. She sounded 22 years old instead what I assume is that she's in her 30s. Very off-putting and made me lose interest.
InformWitch@reddit
She just came up on my feed.
Honestly, seems like a total money grab. Seems she’s married to a EU citizen and that’s always going to be a smoother ride vs. not having someone locally you can rely on.
Unless she has referrals to jobs or has lawyer training, all the information you’d get from her is basically already online.

Let's pretend you want to move to Australia.
Just watch a lot of YouTube videos of people that moved to Australia, politics on Australia, immigration channels, consult immigration lawyers, read reviews, read posts on Reddit about people in the appropriate subreddits, check Australian government skills shortage lists, etc.
Don't pay for a course. Dig deep and pay a licensed professional(immigration lawyer) for any and all questions you can't find for free online.
