I've been searching for the the 2 tracks used in Xena Warrior Princess season 2 episode Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. I've had success in finding a LOT of music that was recorded, but never released. The first track from that episode, is the music that is playing at the masquerade party. Except in the episode, there's a rap to it. And it's a good rap! But,the background music of the rap, would be the track. It's used in several other episodes of Xena, and in some episodes of Hercules as well. For instance, it's ALSO used in the episode AFTER this episode (Callisto Returns). It's playing as the party music when Callisto's men are partying, and Theodores chats with her, while she's sitting on the chair that she was locked onto in the opening scene of the episode. The song, music, and definate artist of the Bucchae song playing as Gabrielle is entering Bacchus' catacombs is the other track that I hope to locate a studio version of. The bocals, could be a number of singers. I think it may be Natacha Atlas, a belgium singer. Although, I went to Natacha Atlas' site, and inquired about the music, and they acted as if they didn't know. I didn't ever get a confirmation that it was in fact Natacha Atlas. But, there's a spoken word track that Lisa Bonet recorded with Deepak Chopra, called Nothing Lasts Forever. And throughout the track, there's a background vocalist that's NOT singing in English, ALSO sounds very similar to Natacha Atlas, and COULD very well be the same vocalist who performs the song for Joseph LoDuca. I've tried asking Joseph LoDuca, Natacha Atlas, and every source that I can think of... This track is also played in the very beginning of the opening scene of Xena season 2 episode, Blind Faith. WHY rge Bacchae music is played for the first few seconds, is unknown to me, but it JUST CONFIRMED that apparently Joseph LoDuca owns the song. Then BOTH of these tracks are used in another episode together, in Hercules season 4, episode Top God. Notice the music turns good, after he eats some ambrosia in the "God's Lounge". Check it out, let me know if you can find out anything! Obviously several of us would appreciate the info to the trackx! Thankx everyone! :)

Actually, it's a different song. In episode "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", there's 2 tracks that MAY BE by Joseph Loduca, but in all of the Xena & Hercules soundtracks that I've purchased, neither of the tracks were ever included, to the best of my knowledge. The first track, is the background music playing, and a rap is done to it, in the episode. And I like the rap too, but it's the background music being played during that dance scene, is thr track that I would love to have the full studio version of. The same track is used in the next season 2 episode, The Return of Callisto. The track is played at the party that Callisto's army is having towards the end of the episode, where Callisto notices the extra attention from Theodores, and asked him if he's falling in love with her. He confirms that he might be, and she said that she would have to kill him if that was the case! "Love is a trick that nature plays on us to get us to reproduce. I want no part of it." But, the next track that I really want to have the studio version of, is the track playing in Bacchas' lair, as Gabrielle flies in, and around the room while the song is playing. I guess we were supposed to think that one of the bacchae is singing the song. But, a few episodes later, in the very first opening scene of the episode, "Blind Faith", the song played again for just a few seconds, at the very beginning of the opening scene. Here's the 2 tracks, that's been edited out of the episode, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". The rap is fine, but the music only track would be THE studio recorded track, as it's used in several episodes of both Xena & Hercules series... https://youtu.be/4X-Pjv2Esxk?feature=shared The rap is present, and is a good rap for that episode. I would just like the studio full version of the track, which doesn't include a rap, but I wouldn't mind it either way. The second track begins at 2:22, which I consider the Bacchae's song. Like I said, it plays just randomly, at the very beginning of the episode, " Blind Faith". Both of these tracks that I'd like to have, were also BOTH used again together, in the season 4 episode of Hercules, called "Top God". There's a "God's Lounge", with a bar, music playing, and ambrosia just sitting around for (I guess) the God's to snack on! But the music only track without the rap is playing in the lounge in one scene. Later, the "singing bacchaes" track is being played in the lounge.ย I just really like both of them tracks! I don't know what they're called, nor what artist they belong to... Do you?

Apologize for bringing up an old post, but I wish they would release this track. Such a good beat.

Don't know the track titles, but was told at a convention, by a person involved with the sndtrk, it was a mish mash of tracks to make it, thats why the song isn't released. ....but here is my personal cut, with 2 unused tracks....... in your chat

Yeah. I remember back in the days when Xena would come on daily, on the Oxygen network. I don't quite remember if it was an everyday thing, but they would have live chats, and comments at the bottom of the screen. And the Oxygen network, would comment with some details, LIKE THAT, about the show. I think the first track, (with the rap) was said to be several different rare instruments being played, and put together. If it was Joseph Loduca's work, I wish it had been put on one of the released soundtrack albums. The second track here, that I want, I've read that it was wrote by Joseph Loduca. But, I'm not sure who provided the vocals. I also read, that at the time that the soundtracks were released, it wasn't included because he wasn't sure about releasing his track, with the vocalist claiming copyright infringement, or perhaps paying royalties may had been a factor. But years later, "I read" that the vocalist was onboard with the track being released. The voice in the track, sounds like Natacha Atlas, but when I went to her website, and made the inquiry about any music that she may had recorded for Universal Studios, Xena and Hercules series, more specifically. I never received an answer. So. WHO KNOWS!ย But, years after music has been recorded, sometimes it surfaces after many years! I'm hoping these tracks can be found, and uploaded to youtube, or be offered on Amazon MP3s, and probably iTunes. Thanks for your time, and information. I know it exists, whether it ever gets released or uploaded, I don't know. ๐โฎ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฑ

I don't think it was Natasha or Haifa Wehbe. My info, Wench, had a hand in it. Check out the tracks I just shared with you in your chat~

Well WENCH wrote the Bacchae party song. I have it on an unreleased Wench cassette. Here is a track that was an extra, that was going to be used in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Another Wench tune....
