Albanians of North Macedonia, do you feel closer to Albanians of Albania, or Albanians of Kosovo?

It's regional. The ones bordering Kosovo are more similar to us, the ones bordering Albania are more similar to albanians. I guess it's only natural

Damn 8 hours ago and no one answered. My family is from Struga so i guess it depends for us. Dialect wise we are way close to Albanians from Albania than to Albanians from Kosovo. Culture wise I'd say there are more similarities to Albanians from Kosovo especially since both have Slavic influence via Yugoslavia. All in all I'd say we're our own thing though. We're all Albanian but there will be obivous differences.

I know that‘s why I said our dialect is closer to Albania than to Kosovo. In my case my father is Tosk and my mother is Gheg.

I'd assume most of them to Kosovo, as they are mostly Ghegh. But the ones from the Kërçova area are Tosk, so I'd wager they feel closer to the Albanians from "their" area of Albania.
