£2-2.5k: 5080 OC & R7 9800x3d build - opinions wanted

Hi all, after having to put a ridiculous amount of effort for a company to take my money, I got a Zotac 5080 Solid OC. 1440p no compromise 180fps (ideally lol). I’m building my 1st pc after waiting for years, please check if anything’s wrong, I’m pretty set on parts choice, but I’m curious if there are any issues I should know, and, which is a good case less than 30cm wide with tinted tempered glass on the left. Ofc best heat performance is preferred. Exactly 32 is plenty. down the line everyone may require 64gb as the new sweet spot but that’s probably a long long time from now.

3100!? it’s round 2600 - will it need 64gb? Will that make much difference to fps?

Ram could be better case could be better or something cheaper and just as good psu should be different, at this budget 80+ plat only imo MB can be better/cheaper depending on what you really need also building it yourself?

if only gaming then just grab the cheapest 32gb above 5400 mt/s you can find really x3d chips do not feel the difference between 5600 cl40 and 6800 cl 28 in gaming. if you do productivity stuff then might as well go balls to the walls mode and get 128gb of 9ns or lower latency tbh

I’m not building it, I was gonna but I alr ordered gpu and cba for building. Got custom from 3XS for a few hundred more & extended warranty was included.

Honestly had enough of Corsair at the moment they are not the same company they used to be. PSU reliability is a definite concern and their memory has a lot of trouble with compatibility even if you checked it on the motherboard website. I have a similar build but went for a gigabyte b850 aurous master, be quiet 850w PSU and 64gb kit of adata 6000 cl30 for like a £150

I really recommend getting a better drive than the P3 Plus, it is a budget drive meant for budget gaming. Performance isn't thst great and it's unusable without a heatsink. Investing into something like a Crucial T500 makes far more sense for such a high end build, has among the best PCIE 4 performance and can be run without a heatsink

Thanks I changed it to WD Black gen 4 + I alr have a Samsung 980 somewhere I think
