Where are the Prius parts? Is this how you discovered the existence of fastbacks?
View on Reddit #47157591

lasskinn@reddit

Its the fastback hatch.
View on Reddit #47392893

TrailerPosh2018@reddit

Eh, I'm not seeing it. Perhaps it needs more pixels.
View on Reddit #47394442

lasskinn@reddit

They didn't do a factory slope-fastback. Its nice enough of a mod tho no matter what the hatch is from.

I agree.

…….I’m not mad at it. That could look a helluva lot worse

A Hummer H3 Alpha for $7500 is a solid deal. That’s a capable little truck.
View on Reddit #47144884

PobBrobert@reddit

I worked at a place that had an H3 as a company vehicle. It was horrible to drive. Zero visibility. Slow. Handled like a canoe in a lake full of jelly. They were also all built during a period in GM’s history that was not know for building reliable, durable cars. There are so few of them left for a reason.
View on Reddit #47155915

Noopy9@reddit

The h3 alpha had a V8 instead of the enemic i5 and they didn’t make many of them. So not nearly as slow as the one you drove.

No_Skirt_6002@reddit

Locking front and rear diffs optional, too. Underrated off-road platform if you ask me.
View on Reddit #47262312

FrenchFryCattaneo@reddit

You gotta account for the fact that the back will now leak if it rains
View on Reddit #47148878

mynameisrichard0@reddit

My burning thoughts on this
View on Reddit #47198938

ScottaHemi@reddit

that's pretty cool. in a basic boring almost 20 year old colorado Hummer sort of way.
View on Reddit #47139998

Minirig355@reddit

That was the weirdest part I realized when I owned a GMC Canyon, that not only do they share a chassis with Chevy Colorado’s but also with the Hummer H3 (pre-2015 refresh, the 355 model, hence my username)
View on Reddit #47143256

Maker0fPain1@reddit

and the Isuzu I-280/290/350/370 trucks Colorado/Canyon/Isuzu were literally the same truck with a different badge, while the H3 was largely based on the same chassis but did have a slightly different frame.
View on Reddit #47157160

CallOfCorgithulhu@reddit

The H2 was also a mashup/modified frame. It used the GMT800 half ton center and rear, with a 3/4 ton front section. But it uses 3/4 ton hubs all around since it's got 8 lug wheels.
View on Reddit #47200165

Drzhivago138@reddit

And they made sure to get it in the 3/4 ton weight category to be exempt from those pesky fuel efficiency standards.
View on Reddit #47211919

ScottaHemi@reddit

it would have increased the price. but an OG Duramax diesel would have been a pretty good option i'm surprised they didn't even try. just like not stuffing the atlas i6 in anything but the GMT360
View on Reddit #47223736

Drzhivago138@reddit

Now that you mention it, that was weird.

Mental_Technician_16@reddit

I like Hummus better
View on Reddit #47144529

jninethousand@reddit

Prius is in the back, so Hummus makes more sense
View on Reddit #47249441

BrutalSpinach@reddit

Honestly, as much as I clown on H2 owners, this kinda fucks.
View on Reddit #47239165

bardia_afk@reddit

Ill go as far as saying that I like it

SmallTownTrans1@reddit

I… don’t hate it It looks like slant back Humvee, which is my favorite looking Hummer/Humvee variant

Looks better on the [h3t](https://www.hummerguy.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/2009-hummer-h3t-kayaking.jpg)

Secret-Ad-7909@reddit

It’s the one thing I would replace my Colorado with.
View on Reddit #47208266

Xxx1982xxX@reddit

Yea.... Idk. I love the body, but not really into the internals.
View on Reddit #47208533

Secret-Ad-7909@reddit

It’s a solid platform. A lot of it was kind of dated and some of the designs were questionable but I think the philosophy was “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” Then the H3 got all the best off-road equipment offered. 5.3 v8, higher diff ratios, e-lockers. Some even had full time 4wd.
View on Reddit #47224883

majoroutage@reddit

Eeeh, does it, though?

This looks cool to me. More sporty-adventure looking than, "Mount a machine gun on me."
View on Reddit #47145767

SleepyPunster@reddit

I think it looks better than the H2 with the li'l pickup bed hanging out. But I liked the form factor of the Pontiac Aztek, so at least I know my opinion isn't popular.
View on Reddit #47145279

thecasualcaribou@reddit

I swear I had a die cast of a hummer with a sloping roof when I was a kid
View on Reddit #47142339

FocusMaster@reddit

The original h1 hummer offered a slant back similar to this. The military versions had them too.
View on Reddit #47142726

thecasualcaribou@reddit

I do recall that, but the die cast I had was either an H2 or H3- not H1
View on Reddit #47143743

_pout_@reddit

Wait but why would you want that infuriating slope? Aren't there better options?
View on Reddit #47140597

StashuJakowski1@reddit

It’s one of those looks vs function things. Just like Michigan Vehicle Solutions’ Aero X bed cap they make for the F150.

MlackBesa@reddit

Absolutely love it
View on Reddit #47143656

Turboteg90@reddit

Reminds me of a Jeep with a slant back aftermarket top. Kind of resembles an Aztek in back as well.
