Good. I hate what the Democratic Party has become. They push the moderates/old school Democrats away, to the point where I know of some who have started voting the other way, just to oppose what the party has become. I haven’t reached that point yet, but I’d be lying if it said I didn’t at least think about it.
Is the party as a whole pushing moderates away? Or just a select few that get magnified and then propped up by right wing media as representatives of the entire party? It’s funny though because voting trends suggest the complete opposite of what you’re saying. Moderate middle class suburban voters have left the Republican Party in droves since 2018.
I don't know about a right-wing media plot to amplify all of the crazy drivel from the far left side of the Democrat party but I know I registered as a Democrat 40 years ago and I haven't voted for one since Obama 1.0
You can say you don’t know but that is indeed what’s happened. It’s not even media in the traditional sense but social media has played a huge role in this. The obsession with trans people(less than 1% of the US population) is a good example. Priorities have gotten all out of wack imo for the new right and that includes Tulsi. This is someone who used to champion universal healthcare joining ad administration who is attempting to gut Medicare. This doesn’t happen overnight.
People change views naturally overtime, I have as well. I usually just ask people though to research their positions more from all perspectives.
Trans people are certainly well below 1% of the US population but that's all the Democrats talk about, they could care less about real Americans and it shows every time they open their idiotic mouths...
This just isn’t accurate by any measurable standard and is what I was referring to.
You have to be really far gone to believe Trans issues are a huge priority for Dems compared to Republicans. Ask yourself, which party writes more legislation about trans people?
Most trans related issues should he taken up hyper locally anyway and are completely out of scope of the federal governments job.

That comment didn't age well at all...

Sure it did
Those suburban moderates stayed voting for Dems this recent election cycle.
Trump(specifically him and not the GOP) gained urban minority support by a few points in the swing states and it helped flip the election.
Just watch what happens next November, you can come back then in another 2 years.
