Has anyone here bought a Vortex Air bladeles fan?

Keep seeing these advertised and they may solve a problem in my home. Are they any good?

Bought and returned it. As a fan, it is absolutely and utterly useless. It also manages to be extremely loud while doing the bare minimum possible. Even on max, the air circulation/fan function is poor. Returned it and got a cheap Argos desk fan instead which does the job. I can't believe it has so many great reviews on their site- makes me suspicious

Funny. I ended up buying it and quite liking it. It’s been a life saver during the hot weather

Bought and returned. Definitely is doing its job, my flat is boiling furing summer and it kept my bed cool for as long as i rest. And that was it. But here is trick that they don't even mention on ads: energy consumption. Sure is an a+ efficient but consuming 1.200w/per hour is nearly £2 a night. Oh yeah I need to mention that is that: an expensive fan. So people saying "I bought 2 of those they are fab", mate you could spend same amount of money for air-conditioning and save from energy bills too.

My daughters student flat is already boiling, she won't have to pay extra bills, is it better than a normal fan for cooling?
